Channel-List

The main IRC Channel is the #ChibiPaws channel which every user is automatically forced to join.

To part a channel, use /part

To join another channel /join <channel>

Most channels have what is called a channel operator, which if you are the first user to join, a non registered channel, will be you. Channel operators have the ability to control the channel services and punish a user if they do not follow the rules. Other users with the power to punish in the asending power order, Most to least, are Owners, Administrators (or protected users), Operators, and Half-Operators. All of these people should be respected at all times. If there is an issue with a user talk to an op or channel owner.

For ops, some useful commands are:

/kick <channel> <nick> <Reason>

Ex: /kick #Chibipaws SallyTest Please follow the rules.

/ban <channel> <nick/host>

Ex: /ban #Chibipaws SallyTest

or

/ban #Chibipaws *!*@testhost.net
